Why I Created LunchThief, A Frugal Foodie Story

Hi I’m Paul (that’s me in the middle) the founder of LunchThief. Full disclosure I am no tech bro, programmer, and/or digital engineer. For context I owe that rapidly graying and receding hairline exclusively to Excel, clearly a creation of evil spirits. Until now I was a dude in a cubicle who spent way too much company time plotting how to save a buck fifty AND get a free fountain soda at lunchtime. To me, the big “win” of the work day was not landing the coveted client, impressing the boss with an on time and under budget project, or wallowing in my rival coworker getting reprimanded for a less than great performance. My personal office victory was locking down a great deal on a killer lunch while savoring every last one of the precious 30 minutes I was permitted to enjoy it. LunchThief was rolled out with one loud and proud objective in mind…..stake out and steal the best, fastest, and cheapest lunch for those heroes working in the office or out on the job. Eating some great chow and saving a few bucks while making it fun is what the LunchThief value proposition is all about. Oh, and if we can rob our competitors of some beauty sleep along the way, we are definitely doing something right!
